With multiple internet uplinks, we protect your event from suddenly going offline. With good contacts to network operators, we organize the right internet connection for your project — DSL links or fiber of any size. And as a backup, i.e., as a second uplink, we bring mobile systems that bundle Starlink with multiple 5G connections. This allows us to achieve several hundred Mbit/s even in remote locations without relying solely on a satellite connection.
Onsite, our local backbone consists of fiber cables and point-to-point wireless cells connected to outdoor switches that receive power from backup batteries incase power goes out. Our infrastructure can run on batteries for atleast two hours. The network itself is also fail-safe: We connect our backbone in a so called ring, which means that everything is connected from two directions. If one cable is damaged, the other one is taking over it's job without bringing the network to a standstill.

Interlinking of multiple event locations
A redundant core router is the “heart” of the Tournet, supplemented by an individual number of backup-powered “edge switches” depending on the size of the network. Cable drums with fiber optic or CAT cables ranging from 90 to 500 meters in length or microwave radio cells ensure stable connections between all switches at speeds of 1 to 100 Gbit/s.
Our Tournet system scales: We ship simple router/access point combinations as rental systems directly to the event location without technicians and provide remote support. Our focus is on larger events where particularly extensive and/or particularly stable networks are required. In most cases, we are on-site with a team of at least two technicians for setup and also have staff onsite during the event.
We are IT specialists with event experience. Most of our colleagues have completed an IT specialists training for system integration and learned the know-how of the event industry during their practical work. We are not afraid of physical work.
Yes! We also offer switches, routers and Wi-Fi access points for rent without staff. For network switches we have managed ones by HPE / Aruba. Regarding Wi-Fi we have almost a hundred access points from Ruckus and Ubiquiti UniFi in stock. Yes and no. For fixed event connections (fiber optics, DSL), we commission the switching from suitable ISPs such as Telekom, Versatel or Vodafone. In the area of 5G and satellite uplink, on the other hand, we offer ready-to-use systems for rent.
